Tom Cowden Youth Shooting Sports is a 501(c)3 Nonprofit Organization that offers it's services at little or no charge to the Youth Programs involved. Our 4-H Club for example supplies all equipment, ammunition, targets etc... at absolutely no cost to members or their families. Running a Youth Shooting Sports Program is not cheap! A typical 4-H Meeting or Fun Shoot will use hundreds of dollars worth of ammunition and targets. Some of our kids and families would never be introduced to the Shooting Sports World without TCYSS due to the costs! We believe that every kid that wants to learn to shoot safely and become involved should be able to regardless of ability to purchase ammunition, firearms, bows, and other equipment.

Thanks to the generous support of organizations like the Friends of the NRA, MidwayUSA Foundation, The Lancaster Archery Foundation and others we have been able to keep kids active, outdoors and learning lifelong skills for 11 years and counting...Our main source of revenue to operate our programs comes from our periodic Fundraisers. Although we do not have any required costs involved, we do ask our kids and parents to help out with those Fundraisers.

Our current Fundraiser is a for the Spring and Summer of 2024. We are raffling two Henry Lever Action Rifles. This is a limited Raffle that will only sell 100 tickets for each gun we are Raffling. Once we sell 100 tickets for each rifle, we will end the raffle and draw the name of each winner.
